Coves of Menorca by boat
These are the coves on the south coast of Menorca that we reach by sea from Es Canutells, aboard our 9-metre Menorcan llaüt (the island's traditional wooden boat). The day's route shifts with the sea and the wind, but here you have the detail of each one: how we get there, what you'll find and where we anchor to swim and snorkel. If you want to see how we put the trips together, have a look at our boat trips.

Cala Macarella by boat
White sand, turquoise water and, right next door, Macarelleta. One of the furthest to the west, so it fits a full day best.

Cala Mitjana by boat
An unspoilt cove of pale sand and shallow water, next to Cala Galdana. Made for a long, easy swim.

Cala Trebalúger by boat
One of the great wild coves of the south, with no road in. A wide beach, a green ravine behind it and plenty of calm.

Cala en Porter by boat
Limestone cliffs and the Cova d'en Xoroi hanging over the water, a sight that only makes sense from the sea.

Cova des Coloms by boat
The Binigaus coast, in Es Migjorn Gran: ochre cliffs, sea caves and an anchorage facing an unspoilt beach.
